I remember the colors in Dublin - mostly browns and greys, the pavements were a warm grey. The Dubliners had beautiful skins, the kind of complexion people with red hair have - it looked as if it'd been washed and tended and scraped a bit ! I think black-and-white photos evoke more, have more beauty..."
